I have always had a penchant for the "aura" of New Orleans society, I am a big fan of "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil" and had hoped that this book would be a continuation in the same vein as the first story. It's a shame that book titles can't be copyrighted. This is a super quick read - but it's nice to have a little more background on the Hansford case and it's players, especially the shady dealings in the antique world. His legacy thrust Savannah into the national spotlight and transformed the genteel city into a tourist mecca. I almost felt like going through with a red pen and marking all the errors. It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness. I back tracked and reread the prior page, but it just didn't fit.
This is a rather short Kindle book that should properly be titled. Sounded intriguing - but wasn't. Might be okay writing legal briefs but stinks at writing an interesting book. Author obviously hated Jim Williams and his attorney and, in fact, the legal profession as a whole.

I love true crime and I like to walk away with a personal opinion of whether the accused is guilty or not. It was a bit technical in the legal area that was difficult at times for a non-legal reader, but recognize the need to explain all facets of the story. This was a quick read.
